PayWithThis answers one question: which credit card should you use for this purchase? Most people leave rewards on the table not because they have the wrong cards, but because they use the wrong card at the wrong merchant. We track the earning rates, bonus categories, caps, and rotating calendars of the cards in our database and turn them into a simple answer for every spending category and merchant.

Everything on the site is built around your actual spending, not a generic “best card” list:

• Best Card Now — tells you which of your cards to pull out for a given purchase.
• Spending Simulator — projects your annual rewards across every card based on your monthly spending.
• Advisor — recommends the next card that adds the most to your existing wallet.
• Compare — head-to-head card matchups, category by category.
• My Wallet — tracks your cards, bonus caps, points balances, and whether each card is still earning its annual fee.

PayWithThis is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any bank, card issuer, or payment network. We do not currently participate in any affiliate or referral program, and we receive no compensation for clicks or approved applications. Every ranking on the site comes from one transparent formula: effective return percentage, calculated from each card’s earn multiplier and our published point valuations. Signed-in users can substitute their own valuations. The full formula, data-handling rules, and limitations are documented on our methodology page.

Reward rates, fees, and benefits are set by issuers and change frequently. We update our database as issuers change their terms, and every page shows data from that single source, so a correction propagates everywhere at once. If you spot something outdated, use the “Report a problem” link in the footer — corrections are genuinely welcome. Always verify current terms with the issuer before applying.
